Farewell to 2014 and the Stampotique Designer's Blog

Today marks the final day of 2014 and along with saying farewell to the year, we have decided to say farewell to the Stampotique Designer's Blog.

The presence here on the Stampotique Designer's Challenge blog and our Facebook page has increased over the past year and we are looking forward to combining the two teams into one and focusing on the challenge blog.

We want to thank our design team for the past year on the Stampotique Designer's Blog and while most of them will be moving over to join the Designer's Challenge, we will be bidding farewell to Roc and Sarah.

Thank you to our wonderful team for the past year of posting here on the blog:

If you aren't already a frequent visitor or participant on our Stampotique Designer's Challenge, we encourage you to hop on over there and visit us.  We also have a lot of wonderful creations over on our Facebook page, so invite you to visit us there as well.

Thank you to our visitors who have made Stampotique so successful!

Wishing you all a wonderful and prosperous 2015.

2014: My year with Stampotique

This is my last post for Stampotique in 2014.  I have absolutely loved my year on this design team; such a wonderful, friendly group of people.

As it's Boxing Day here in the UK an appropriate final project would have been an altered matchbox, but that only occurred to me as I wrote this post!

I decided to pick out some of my favourite projects from the year and was hoping to put them in a slideshow but couldn't work out how!  So you have a shorter collection of photos from over the last year.

I've never done one of those end of year looking back posts but looking back at these projects is making me consider doing one!

I've made tags, envelopes and journal pages and happily cut, stuck, stitched, sprayed, collaged, stamped, painted and doodled and had a wonderful time :)

I've also made some lovely friends and want to thank Carol, Jim and Kim for having me on team this year.

Thanks for sticking with me on this photo heavy post!  And thanks for supporting me through my Stampotique adventure :)

Wishing you all the very best for 2015, Sarah xx

Wednesday's With Claudine - Week 4 Anything Goes

Merry Christmas Eve! and welcome back to another Wednesday with me and the Stampotique Designer's Challenge. This is the 4th week with the "Anything Goes" Challenge. This one ran through the entire month of December.

The passed two week's I have given you a bit of a recap on my year with Stampotique, it has been a lot of fun going through some of my projects over this year.

This week I wanted to make something new so i decided to make a cell phone case. I just got the new iPhone 6 and I needed to make me a shiny new case with my Stampotique characters.

I always buy a clear case and just make my own background.
So without further delay, here is my new case:

I used the Stampotique stamp - Moth Fab by artists Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney

and also Whatever... - Carol's Collection

I just love how my case turned out, nice and bright just like I like it. The great thing about it is, I can change it whenever I want and it's always original.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Throwback Thursday

With the holidays fast approaching some of us are revisiting previous posts.  This project was one of my favorites featuring Summer of  '32 which is from a photograph of my husband's mother.  You can find the original post of the vintage inspired pin cushion here.  Perhaps you have time to make a similar one for a gift?

Wednesday's With Claudine

Good morning everyone, only one more week and a day before Christmas. Can you believe how time just flies by?
This is the 3rd week of the "Anything Goes" challenge over at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge Blog and Stampotique is giving away a 30.00 gift card to one lucky winner.
Last week for my post I gave you a recap of some of the things I have created for the Stampotique Design team this year and I wanted to do that again this week. I can't tell you how much fun I have had on this team and how I am looking forward to many more creations with their wonderful stamps!

For my first creation, I posted this postcard a few weeks ago. It was for the announcement of the Roc Nicholas Design team, Roc and Stampotique go hand and hand because Roc's stamps are sold by Stampotique.

On this tag I used stamps:

All Roc Nicholas' Stamps

Next up I have a Halloween card I created with some of the new release stamps. We also had a new stamp designer join the Stampotique team. Her name is Arwen McCullen and she rocks!

In this Card I used her new Skull Moon stamp and also

Connie Shows Off Her Nails by Daniel Torrente

The next creation is a journal page I did awhile back for a quote challenge. I used my all time favorite stamp and my 1st ever Stampotique Stamp

Prom Queen - By Daniel Torrente

And last but not least, This was so fun to make and it was one of my favorite creations this passed year. I used Stampotique stamps:

Scooter Girl - By Roc Nicholas
Daniel's Hearts - By Daniel Torrente
Cross Hatch Swirl - By Maryse Carrier

Thanks again for coming by the blog, this has been so fun to do these re-caps. Have a great day!!

Next up is one from many moons ago, this one I did prior to becoming a design team member but I just love this page, it's so fun and bright and bold. It's one that I use for my business card

I only used one Stampotique stamp on this journal page but she is my all time favorite and at the time I only had one stamp and Prom Queen it was.

Tuesday with Val and a Hug

Happy Tuesday!
Are you having cold weather like we are here?
We've been enjoying a warm cup of tea in the evenings lately
so I thought I'd create a little matchbook tea bag card.
I used bits from the scrap pile (including one of the folded tags that I cut off of last week's project) to create a little belly band that slides off to reveal the "hug" enclosed.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
Val :)

... how lovely are your branches!

I love twiggy trees like this and would be quite happy with this as a Christmas tree, I'd just add white lights and some silver baubles.
